For example, in 1996 we were given one week’s notice to set up an entire rehabilitation department at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, Arizona. All of the former employees of their rehab department had quit. The hospital tried to recruit a new rehab staff, but was unsuccessful—and so they turned to Valley Rehabilitation for help. In less than two weeks, we had built an entire rehab team for the hospital’s nursing home, home health, inpatient and outpatient services. We also supplied therapy services to Arrowhead Hospital in Glendale, Arizona, for ten years with similar success.
